Morgantown WV – Lourdes Karas, executive director of the Appalachian Education Initiative, will be one of three panelists to speak about the challenges of arts education in rural states at the Kennedy Center Alliance for Arts Education annual Partners in Education Conference.
Karas, whose organization is the West Virginia Kennedy Center partner, will join Carol Trimble, executive director of the Maine Alliance for Arts Education and Don Hudgins, executive director of the Oregon Alliance for Arts Education, on the panel.
The panel presentation will take place on Feb. 27 during the three-day conference in (place).
